March 19th is the 5th Anniversary of the start of the US war against Iraq. Since then almost 4,000 of our military have died along with 50,000 wounded. Add another 1,000 coalition forces lost. In addition to this the conservative estimate of loss of life for the Iraqi people is 100,000 with many reporting agencies say that it could be 500,000 along with two million refugees. In economic cost this has bled a trillion dollars from our national budget, leaving gaping holes in much needed services and programs.

5:00 PM at Federal Courthouse (Union Station) 1717 Pacific, Tacoma
Directions: Union Station - Between Art Museum and Historical Museum. Parking across the street.
Hosted by David Dittemore, People for Peace, Justice, & Healing regular weekly vigil. We will provide signs.

This has been an ongoing peace vigil started by People for Peace, Justice, and Healing shortly after September 11, 2001 when the group started to meet. To continue being a witness to the principles of peace, justice and healing people are asked to come on a regular basis, at least once a month or two months. Everyone is encouraged to come.
