Mark the 5th anniversary of the U.S. war against Iraq (actually, the 17th year if you include the 1991 Gulf War and the economic sanctions, the bombing, etc., that we did between) – and mark the 4,000th U.S. military death in Iraq.
Bring peace-related signs and friends for a family-friendly demonstration on the sidewalks along both sides of W. 4th Avenue from the bridge to Percival Landing. It begins at 10:30 a.m. For the last 30 minutes we’ll rally at the Heritage Park fountain on W. 4th Ave. This is organized and sponsored by the Rachel Corrie Chapter 109 of Veterans for Peace.
