The League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County presents a Public Forum on Immigration - What are the Real Issues?

Saturday, November 3, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
University of Puget Sound (UPS) Rotunda
(North 15th Street between Alder and Lawrence)
Tacoma, WA

A panel of experts will give information on several aspects of immigration:
Global Interdependence and Migration
The Impact of Immigration on the U.S. Economy
Border Enforcement
Family Reunification and Diversity Policies

Panel members will include:
Julio Quan – Former Director of Centro Latino
Lua Pritchard – Director of Korean Womens’ Association
Phil Chang – Director of Asia Pacific Cultural Center
Tim Farrell – Pierce County Council Member
Julia Harrison - Citizenship and Immigration Service
Jack Bennett - Homeland Security Local Field Office

Following these presentations you will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Parking is available on Lawrence Street south and north of North 15th Street.
Pierce Transit #16 Bus stops at North 15th Street and Alder.
A light lunch will be served at the conclusion of the meeting.
